Our vision and strategy is to be a church where real people become a real church - following the acrostic: R.E.A.L. P.E.O.P.L.E.
R – Relevant to
Daily Living.
We desire to present
the Bible as it really is – relevant to every area of our lives.
E – Encouraging
Messages.
No hellfire and brimstone here. We believe that grace is
more effective at changing lives than guilt and shame.
A – Authentic Worship.
Though our worship style is contemporary, the goal is
real worship of God.
L – Loving Atmosphere.
It’s not an “I’m okay, you’re okay” thing. It’s “I’m not okay, you’re not okay, let’s help each other become okay”
thing. We love each other as we are and
too much to stay as we are.
P – People over
Programs.
We aren’t here to try and convince others that they need
our already established, denominational programs. We listen and design programs to meet the
needs of people and families.
E – Equip God’s
People for Service.
Every person is important in the church and has a place
to plug-in and serve. We want to help everyone
find how and where.
O – Organize Biblically.
We don’t waste time asking our people to come to a lot of
meetings. We let gifted and skilled
people lead the church. The Elders
oversee the spiritual needs of the church, the Deacons the physical needs and
the Church Management Team the finances.
P – Points of Light.
Our goal is to saturate our community with the influence
and love of Christ through home-based Community Groups, community involvement
and compassionate acts of service.
L – Living Room Christianity.
The home, not the church, should be the primary influence
on the spiritual lives of children and families. We try to facilitate this and encourage families
to live out and teach faith in Jesus Christ at home.
E – Enlarge Our Influence.
It is our responsibility to help any and all people who
do not know Christ to begin a relationship with Him and those who do not have a
church home to find one - if not here, somewhere.
