We welcome everyone, member or not, to come, worship, grow and serve with us, and to make MPCC their church home. At the same time, we also strongly encourage church membership, which enables us to express our commitment to one another and the church. We feel it best to reserve certain privileges for those who have expressed their commitment to the church through membership. This includes voting on important issues concerning the direction of the church such as the annual budget, acquisition of or selling properties, changing by-laws, hiring ministerial staff, approving new leadership, etc. (Don't worry, we don't take votes on mundane issues, such as the color of the carpet or the best cribs to buy for the nursery). Certain leadership and teaching positions are also limited to members.
A Relationship with Jesus Christ
To join MPCC, first of all one must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (Please see, " How to Know Jesus Christ").
Attend CLASS 101
We ask all of our prospective members to attend and complete our CLASS 101. This class meets on an as-needed basis, on a single Sunday afternoon from 1:30 - 5:30 pm. In this class, we cover what we believe and teach, what church membership means, as well, as the mission, purpose and values of the church. (You may preview these by checking out the "I'm New" section of this web site). You may sign up for the next CLASS 101 by emailing us:

or by calling the church office: 575-524-7658.
At the end of CLASS 101, attenders are asked to fill out an application for membership. If coming from another church, we ask permission to contact this church to let them know of the decision to move membership to MPCC.
Be Presented to the Church
Next we will schedule a Sunday morning to present all of our new members to and be welcomed by our church family
As part of the privilege of true church membership we also strongly encourage every member to find a place to serve and to get involved in one of our Community Groups.
