We are baptized in order to: 1) Obey Christ's command and follow His example; 2) Symbolize the washing away
of our sins, giving up our old life for new life in Christ; being immersed forever in God's righteousness, love and grace, 3) To testify to the gospel - the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (See Matthew
28:19, Romans 6:3-4, 2 Timothy 1:8).
What Is Needed to Be Baptized:
A Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
As stated above, baptism should be an expression of the faith one has already placed in Christ. See How to Know Jesus Christ

Receive Brief Instruction on the Meaning of Baptism
For children under 12, we ask that they complete our KIDS 101 class, which helps children understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and what baptism means. Adults may choose to attend CLASS 101, read a brief pamphlet on baptism, request an audio message given by the pastor, or make an appointment to speak to an elder or church leader on baptism. Please let us know which you would prefer.
Be Baptized!
We schedule baptisms on Sunday mornings on an as-needed basis. We invite and encourage those being baptized to invite friends and family members - which can be a powerful testimony to them. When children are baptized, parents are welcome to assist in the baptism with the Pastor.
