A STUDY OF THE OLD TESTAMENT

Come and join the study of the Old Testament lead by Missy Lockyear each Sunday morning at 11:15 a.m. in Room 102 and have some of your questions answered.

STUDY OF THE BOOK OF ACTS

taught by Terry Crawford

Terry Crawford is teaching the Book of Acts from the New Testament on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in Room 101.

The Book of Acts gives an accurate account of the birth and growth of the Christian church.

Single Parenting/ The Book of John

taught by Pam Sanders

Pam Sanders leads the Single Parenting Class in the Study of the Book of John at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday in Room 104. The purpose of the Book of John was to prove that Jesus is the Son of God and that all who believe in him will have eternal life.

The class is for all single parents with any age children.

CROSSROADS

taught by Lynn Derkson

The CrossRoad Class meets in Room 102 at 9:45 a.m. and is taught by Lynn Derksen.

Community Groups

Community Groups meet in homes and on campus. We currently have 22 groups that meet different days of the week and in different parts of our city. This is a great place to make real friends through fellowship, grow in real faith through Bible study, and meet real needs by serving one another and our community. Most groups are open to new members and can be joined anytime.

East Asia

In the summer of 2006 MPCC sent its first missions team overseas. We are excited to announce that in the summer of 2007 our second team will follow in their footsteps to continue the work that was begun in our new partner city in East Asia. We are confident that God has and will continue to use these teams in amazing ways to accomplish His great purposes throughout the world. The dates of this summer’s trip are July 9-August 1^st. We are accepting applications through March 18^th. If you feel led to apply to be a part of our 2007 team and would like more information please contact Ron Cross.

River of Mercy Orphanage

Mesilla Park Community Church strives to assist those in communities outside of Las Cruces. In doing so we are a large supporter of of The River of Mercy Orphanage in Anapra, Mexico. Our congragation has helped in the building and painting of the facilities, provided supplies and clothing, and prayer support. We are continuing our support in various ways. This is a fun time of fellowship, worship, and teaching.

Discipleship Groups Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 6^th-12^th graders.

This is a time to go deeper into Gods Word deeper in our relationships and learn what living your life for Christ is all about.
