mind. We want to make church an enjoyable time, where God's ways are
taught through active Bible lessons, which include games, art and FUN!
Our goal is to assist parents
in their job of training children up in the Lord. We desire to plant
seeds of faith and love
and make Jesus' disciples.
Little ones from birth through
five years receive loving care during all church services in our
preschool department. Bible truths are taught on each age group's
learning level and with lots of fun and love each week!
Care is always taken in our
Early Childhood classes to see that germ spreading is minimized.
Parents can also feel secure in knowing that only they can call for
their child through our secure parent calling card system.
Kids in grades
kindergarten through 5th grades enjoy active learning Bible classes,
where they can see how Godand His Word can make a difference in their
everyday lives and apply it personally!
While we offer classes during
all church services in our children's department, we also believe that
kids will learn how to praise, pray and worship through seeing this
modeled by their parents and other adults. We encourage
elementary age
kids to worship with their families during one of the service hours.
A safe, caring environment is
important for kids and their parents--SonTown strives to reflect that
need. We use a check in and calling card system for all kids in which
only an adult can pick up a kid. All teachers are background checked,
interviewed and trained for the safety and well being of the kids.
Classroom teachers also wear nametags identifying them as such.
Fun activities are planned
throughout the year for children. Some of these include Vacation Bible
School, Children's Camp, White Sands Full Moon Picnic and our Family
Fall Festival.
Other opportunities we offer
are child dedication services and Kid's Class 101 where we explain what
it means to be saved and baptized.
